Day 01              AIRPORT/ COLOMBO OR NEGOMBO

Arrival at the Airport. Transfer to hotel in Colombo or Negombo.

Afternoon at leisure.

Dinner and overnight at the hotel. 

Day 02              COLOMBO OR NEGOMBO/ PINNAWALA/ ANURADHAPURA/ SIGIRIYA

After breakfast leave for Anuradhapura. En-route visit the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawela. A unique sanctuary in the world for orphaned elephants. Afternoon visit Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka’s first ancient capital from 1^st century B.C. to 10^th century A. D. Dinner and overnight at hotel. 

Day 03              SIGIRIYA/ POLONNARUWA/ SIGIRIYA

After early breakfast climb Sigiriya rock fortress. Declared as the 8^th wonder of the ancient world. Afternoon visit ruins of Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka’s 2^nd Kingdom – popularly known as the medieval capital. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. 

Day 04              SIGIRIYA/ DAMBULLA/ MATALE/ KANDY

Early morning Optional: safari to Minneriya National Park with a packed breakfast

Leave for Kandy as early as possible visiting Dambulla Cave Temple – famous for wall & ceiling paintings. Visit a Spice garden & a Batik factory on the way. In the evening witness the Cultural show & Fire-walking. Dinner & overnight at hotel. 

Day 05              KANDY

Visit Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya early morning with a city tour. Visit to a Gem shop & lapidary during shopping. Evening visit Temple of the Tooth – the holiest of the holy places for Buddhists throughout the world. Dinner & overnight at hotel. 

Day 06              KANDY/ NUWARA-ELIYA

After breakfast leave for Nuwara-Eliya visiting a Tea Factory on the way. Afternoon visit Hakgala Botanical Gardens. Dinner & overnight at hotel. 

Day 07              NUWARA-ELIYA

After breakfast Nature Hike to Horton Plains National Park visiting World’s End. Dinner & Overnight at hotel.

 Day 08              NUWARA-ELIYA/ TISSAMAHARAMA/ HAMBANTOTA

After breakfast leave for Hambantota via Tissamaharama. En-route 4WD Jeep safari to Udawalawe National Park – Optional.OR 4WD Jeep safari to Bundala National Park (Ramzar Wetland Reserve) late afternoon.

Dinner & overnight at hotel. 

Day 09              HAMBANTOTA/ GALLE/ BENTOTA OR KALUTARA

After breakfast leave for Galle Dutch Fort – the worlds best preserved Dutch Fort among many other Dutch Forts in Sri Lanka. On the way to Bentota/ Kalutara visit a Mask Factory and a Turtle Hatchery. Dinner & overnight at hotel. 

Day 10/ 11/ 12   BENTOTA OR KALUTARA

Beach stay at leisure. 

Day 13              BENTOTA OR KALUTARA/ COLOMBO/ AIRPORT

Leave for Colombo after breakfast. City tour of Colombo.

Late evening departure.
